I came from Syria with my children, fleeing the war. I felt much
sorrow for leaving my country, my home, and my family. The journey
—from Syria to Turkey and then to Greece—was the worst of times.
We paid all that we own to those who facilitated our fleeing in order
to reach safety. I want the world to know that we are not terrorists;
we left seeking safety. All we need is for them to allow us to pass
so that I can reach my children; help us by making the process
of joining my family faster.

                Thank you Europe
